    Hartsdale Pet Cemetery

    Dating back to 1896, the Hartsdale Pet Cemetery is the oldest in the United State. It was started by Samuel Johnson, a veterinarian from New York City who buried a dog in his apple orchard for a friend. Today the grounds hold more than 70,000 pets.

    Evergreen Cemetary - Norwich
    The Evergreen Cemetary is the oldest public cemetary in Chenango County. It is the burial place of 19 Revolutionary War soldiers, three War of 1812 veterans and 10 Civil War soldiers.
